A poem by Yssa

“What a wonderful sight” is truly an expression of a youthful bliss crowned with awe and wonder. Yssa has a knack with writing! Brilliance at her early age is showing over her rhythm and rhyme, vivid description of movement and color and the desire to be more intimate with her encounter. For now she has learned the power of sight; as she grows smarter and continues to hone her skill, she will learn to use her other senses to describe her experience more figuratively. Yes, exposure to music and painting helps stimulate the senses and draws out creativity. And well, greatness in artists is known when they perform what they compose. She could complement the lack of talent – of sort – from among her cousins here. I have exposed Lj, Jan & Mic into writing and reading but it seems they are more inclined to action, games, fun, more games and more fun.
